TTP structures, negotiates, and manages PPP arrangements that deliver public infrastructure through private sector efficiency and investment for federal agencies, state governments, and port authorities.
Traffic congestion stretched from Apapa to Maryland and the Cele Expressway, with fewer than 50 trucks evacuated daily. Truck drivers often waited between two and three weeks to gain a single port entry, while cargo transportation costs surged by 450% due to inefficiencies and extortion. As a result, Nigeria's maritime industry suffered estimated annual losses of ₦2.5 trillion, and manufacturers were able to process fewer than 40 trucks per day.
Since 2021, more than 3.5 million truck movements have been processed over 64 months with 100% Ètò system uptime. Over 400 trucks are now processed daily across clients, while the average turnaround time for port access and evacuation has been reduced to less than two days. Cargo logistics costs have decreased by 65%, and containerised export activity increased by 464% between 2020 and 2021. Through our VSTMS technology, over 300,000 truck movements have been processed for Flour Mills of Nigeria alone. Real-time visibility and access control are now operational across more than 120 facilities in Apapa and Tin Can, supported by the deployment of over 200 features designed to strengthen security, enhance operational efficiency, and improve customer experience.
Our Journey
What began as a research project into Nigeria's truck parking crisis has grown into the country's leading mobility infrastructure company, serving ports, governments, manufacturers, and freight operators across Nigeria.
2013
Founders conducted research by visiting truck rest stops along Germany's Autobahn, identifying critical infrastructure gaps within Nigeria's haulage ecosystem.
2014
Benchmarking activities continued across major U.S. interstate highway systems to study global truck management and logistics models.
2016
The vision for a scheduled, technology-driven truck management system was formalised to enable structured truck gate-in and gate-out operations based on business demand.
2017
TTP was incorporated, and stakeholder engagement commenced with the Nigerian Shippers Council, transport unions, and multiple state governments.
2018
TTP was selected as one of three approved participants in the Federal Government's ERGP programme, leading to the development and demonstration of the first version of Ètò.
2019
TTP was selected by the NPA as the preferred bidder for Lilypond Truck Park operations and port-bound truck processing.
2020
New directors joined the board, strengthening TTP's governance structure and organizational capacity for future scale.
2021
The Ètò platform officially launched, and within two weeks, traffic congestion across the Apapa corridor was significantly cleared.
2022–2024
Ètò underwent multiple upgrades, completed NXP integration, and supported the deployment of extensive infrastructure across Lagos.
2025–2026
Processed over 900,000 trucks through Ètò, expanded into new states, and advanced national integration through the National Single Window, NYP, EITN, and Yard Traffic Management solutions.
